Description
A mermaid picture, going back to using calligraphy pens to ink with. Everyone draws mermaids all pretty and whatnot, while if you do your homework and read about the mythology of merfolk then they're just like any other fey.
Everyone makes mermaids all pretty and that's fine and dandy, but in lore they come from they're all a source of darkness, chaos and trouble-using their pretty and mysterious guise to attract their prey.
And no I'm not talking about Disney's "The Little Mermaid". That's for kiddies. REAL mythology is a lot darker, and WAY more interesting.
Will probably make a bunch of these for an art book.
EDIT: Will make prints of this piece available when I can find resources that allow me to. If anyone has ideas, please let me know.

This is insanely cool! I love the colors and how mellow and serene this seems. The tattoos and scales and the attention to detail on all the small things are amazing. I love it overall, great job keep it up!
